Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with mobility, bathing, grooming, and meal support
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and promptly to maintain continuity and safety
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and comfort through respectful interaction
- Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and families
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living is a plus
- Ability to pass required background checks and fulfill facility onboarding
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic resident care
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork mindset
- Understanding of infection control and resident safety principles
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
