Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming with compassion and respect
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Provide timely and accurate documentation of care and observations
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
- Help create a clean, comfortable environment to promote resident dignity and safety
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required) or equivalent nursing assistant credential
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
- Comfort working overnight hours and providing hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer practices
- Familiarity with documenting care in clinical records
- Observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
- Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered focus
- Time management skills to handle multiple resident needs during a shift
