Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care on the night shift
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility procedures
- Support a safe, clean environment and assist with evening routines
Qualifications
- Current GNA/CNA certification (or equivalent) in good standing
- Active or eligible to obtain Maryland certification
- Recent hands-on experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; GNA/CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic resident care and infection control practices
- Ability to perform safe transfers and use proper body mechanics
- Familiarity with charting and following care plans
- Calm, observant, and able to escalate concerns appropriately
