Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care with compassion and clinical accuracy
- Administer medications and treatments per plan of care
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and escalate concerns
- Collaborate with the rehab team to support patient recovery goals
- Support residents’ activities of daily living and promote dignity
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic record
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (or compact/state equivalent)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift reliably
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of medication administration and documentation standards
- Familiarity with rehab and long-term care best practices
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing techniques
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Comfortable using electronic medical records
- Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
