Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and the care team to create and execute care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely
- Monitor patient progress and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Texas nursing license (if applicable to role)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred where required
- Relevant clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background checks and required pre-employment screenings
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Other role-appropriate degrees or certifications as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and prioritization skills
- Patient-focused care and strong bedside manner
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Time management and ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
