Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
• Support patients and families with education, comfort, and dignity

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (Maine license required or eligible)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable working day shift hours (5:45 AM - 6:15 PM with 30-minute meal break)
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and a team player who enjoys making a difference

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical or professional nursing program (LPN or RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond to changing patient needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting practices
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
