Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy
- Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
- Support patients and families with education, comfort, and dignity
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in good standing (Maine license required or eligible)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications a plus
- Comfortable working day shift hours (5:45 AM - 6:15 PM with 30-minute meal break)
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and a team player who enjoys making a difference
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical or professional nursing program (LPN or RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond to changing patient needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting practices
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
