Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document patients' conditions and report changes to the nursing team
- Perform vital signs checks and basic clinical tasks within scope
- Support safe transfers and mobility assistance to reduce fall risk
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the care team to promote coordinated care
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification in your state (required)
- Prior experience working as a CNA preferred but new grads with certification considered
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Comfort working overnight hours and providing hands-on patient care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care skills and infection control practices
- Strong observation and documentation skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility
