Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Perform assessments, document findings, and communicate changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care plans
- Educate residents and families about care needs and procedures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility policies
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in Maryland (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN program
- Preferred: prior experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks
Education
- High school diploma or GED plus graduation from an accredited LPN or RN program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during a busy shift
- Proficiency with electronic health records is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to resident dignity and safety
