Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
- Perform focused assessments and report changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart
- Support residents and families with empathy and clear communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required per facility policy
- Demonstrated clinical skills and the ability to work effectively on a care team
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate with strong communication skills
Education
- LPN diploma or practical nursing certificate; completion of an accredited nursing program
- Active state LPN license
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and clinical nursing skills appropriate for LPN scope
- Basic assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in patient status
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Comfortable with electronic health record documentation and charting
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
