Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN on the unit
- Administer medications and treatments consistently and safely
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team promptly
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable and experienced with night shift responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic treatment skills
- Vital signs assessment and documentation
- Basic wound care and infection control practices
- Electronic charting familiarity and accurate record keeping
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
