Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on the day shift
- Administer medications and document administration accurately
- Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes promptly
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in Maryland (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required depending on unit)
- Clinical experience in a similar care setting is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a patient caseload
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient education skills
