Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team
• Document care and chart according to facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Support activities of daily living to promote patient dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico or ability to obtain one quickly
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and required facility onboarding

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration knowledge and documentation skills
• Comfortable with wound care basics and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
• Good clinical judgment and dependable time management
• Patient-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
