Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate overnight nursing care to residents in the rehab setting
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and report concerns to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to plan
- Assist with assessments, wound care, and rehabilitation supports as directed
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow facility protocols
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
- Experience in rehab, long term care, or behavioral health is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently overnight
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical nursing fundamentals and medication administration skills
- Comfort with night shift priorities including monitoring and early intervention
- Documentation proficiency and attention to detail
- Team player attitude and good communication with patients and families
- Basic knowledge of rehab-focused care and resident safety practices
