Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care and medication administration as an LPN on the night shift
- Monitor resident condition and document changes accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create and implement care plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers to ensure smooth transitions
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Respond to alarms and emergencies calmly and efficiently
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered LPN license in New Mexico (required)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (preferred if not already held)
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and provide compassionate patient care
- Clear background check and ability to pass required health screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Comfortable with documentation in electronic health records
- Good communication and teamwork with nursing and rehab staff
- Basic wound care, IV support familiarity a plus
- Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
