Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents as an LPN during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
- Monitor patient condition, report changes to the care team, and escalate when needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered care
- Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (recommendation: active in New Mexico)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
- Experience in long-term care or rehab settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently overnight
- Reliable, caring, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and monitoring of clinical changes
- Familiarity with long-term care/rehab workflows
- Good critical thinking and prioritization during night shift
- Comfortable with electronic charting systems
