Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care during the overnight shift
- Administer medications and document administration accurately
- Perform patient assessments and communicate changes to the team
- Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility
- Monitor and report clinical changes to charge nurse or provider
- Complete timely and thorough electronic charting and shift reports
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in rehab, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Comfortable working overnight hours and supporting a busy night team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program; active LPN license in NM
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Patient assessment and early recognition of changes
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record charting
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time management
