Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled LPN care to residents in the rehab setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor resident status and communicate changes to the care team
- Support individualized care plans and assist with restorative nursing goals
- Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, professional communication
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to optimize outcomes
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New Mexico or eligible for licensure
- Completion of an accredited LPN training program
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfort working overnight shifts in a rehabilitation environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and timely documentation
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing principles
- Familiarity with rehab-focused patient needs and care planning
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Compassionate patient interaction and strong observational skills
