Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe functional activities
- Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless transitions of care and high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist license (required)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable treating a diverse adult patient population; 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy acceptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Proficient with therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities as appropriate
- Good clinical judgment and ability to prioritize caseloads
- Clear, professional documentation and interdisciplinary communication
- Patient-centered approach with focus on functional outcomes
