Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 3-D mammography
- Assist with stereotactic biopsy, needle localization and fine needle aspiration procedures
- Operate and maintain Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment with attention to safety and quality
- Accurately document imaging and patient care in Epic
- Provide compassionate patient positioning and education to ensure comfort and optimal imaging
- Collaborate with radiologists and the interdisciplinary team to support patient diagnosis and care
- Conduct routine quality control checks and help maintain compliance with imaging protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience preferred (posting indicates 2YR and welcomes newer candidates)
- Experience with Epic charting is required
- ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications preferred
- BLS certification preferred
- State radiologic technologist license (Oregon) preferred
- Comfortable working in outpatient imaging settings and supporting procedural workflows
Knowledge & Skills
- Digital mammography and 3-D mammography techniques
- Stereotactic biopsy, needle localization and fine needle aspiration procedures
- Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX systems
- Strong Epic charting skills
- Patient positioning, image acquisition and quality control
- Excellent patient communication and teamwork
