Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans that drive progress
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Document patient status, progress, and discharge planning accurately in the medical record
• Coach and educate patients, families, and caregivers to support carryover of skills
• Participate in team meetings and contribute clinical expertise to care planning

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for California SLP license (required)
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehab settings is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and clear communication skills

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
• Familiarity with post-acute care documentation and regulatory expectations
• Comfortable using electronic medical records
• Ability to collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff
