Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor resident condition and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
- Support mealtime and personal hygiene needs with dignity and respect
- Document care accurately and timely in resident charts
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident wellbeing
Qualifications
- Active GNA or CNA certification preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum experience caring for elderly or long-term care residents preferred
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- GNA/CNA certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care standards
- Familiarity with safe transfer and mobility techniques
- Ability to follow care plans and document observations clearly
- Empathy, patience, and good interpersonal skills
