Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update care plans
- Assess patient status, intervene appropriately, and escalate concerns
- Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
- Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe discharge
- Support unit initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact license where applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS or specialty certification are a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborating with a team
- Professional communication skills and commitment to patient safety
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good teamwork and bedside manner to support patients and families
