Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents in line with facility standards
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in a resident's condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support a clean, safe, and respectful living environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- GNA certification or equivalent preferred; open to certified nursing assistants
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled day shift
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA or CNA certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
- Compassion, patience, and respect for older adults and their families
- Teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic care setting
