Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to assigned patients during the night shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document according to policy
- Perform focused patient assessments and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic health record
- Support patient comfort and education — make each night shift meaningful
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license (Maryland) — active and in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous clinical experience preferred (night-shift experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Current immunizations and background checks per facility policy
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program; diploma, ADN, or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Patient assessment and monitoring
- Charting and documentation in an EHR
- Time management and prioritized task completion
- Patient- and family-centered communication
