Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality radiation treatments using TrueBeam and Elekta Versa HD with precision and compassion
- Perform CT simulation and imaging (CBCT/kV/mV) to ensure accurate tumor localization
- Operate treatment planning and record systems (ARIA and MOSAIQ) for safe, documented care
- Conduct chart checks and verify treatment parameters before each delivery
- Respond effectively to emergency cases and participate in rapid response/code teams as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, physicists and therapists to optimize patient care plans
- Provide patient and family teaching to promote understanding and comfort throughout treatment
Qualifications
- Active CA state license (required)
- ARRT - Radiation Therapist (ARRT T or equivalent) and current BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience (posting requirement)
- Experience with ARIA and/or MOSAIQ treatment record systems (required/preferred)
- Experience with CT simulation, CBCT/kV/mV imaging and emergency case management
- Comfort with adult inpatient and outpatient oncology settings; pediatric experience is a plus
- Familiarity with HDR afterloader (Bravos) and superficial Xoft treatments is helpful
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient operation of TrueBeam, Elekta Versa HD and GE Lightspeed CT scanner
- CBCT/kV/mV imaging and tumor localization techniques
- Experience with IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery and other external beam modalities
- Strong chart checking and documentation skills (ARIA / MOSAIQ)
- Radiation safety, isolation precautions and use of rapid response/code teams
- Patient/family teaching, lift/transfer device use and pretreatment CT simulation
