Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents at Hopkins Center
- Administer medications and treatments safely and on schedule
- Monitor and document vital signs, observations, and interventions
- Perform routine assessments and report changes in condition
- Collaborate with nurses, clinical staff, and families to support care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation and handoffs
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable administering medications and basic nursing procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to Hopkins Center (Wyncote, PA)
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic wound care and dressing changes
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic health record charting
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Time management in a fast-paced care setting
