Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during the day shift at Meridian Center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain NC licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
- Comfortable working the posted day shift hours and providing hands-on care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first approach
- Previous LPN experience preferred but new graduates with clinical experience are welcome
Education
- Completed LPN program (certificate or diploma) from an accredited school
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
- Ability to accurately document assessments and interventions
- Basic wound care and vital signs monitoring skills
- Comfortable using electronic health record systems
- Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
