Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify medications accurately and safely for hospital patients
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
• Conduct clinical medication reviews to support positive patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, state regulations, and safety protocols
• Participate in medication reconciliation and transitions of care
• Document clinical interventions and communicate recommendations clearly

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in Florida (or eligible for state licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience as listed in the posting
• Comfortable working inpatient hospital pharmacy workflows
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently on a PM shift
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication dispensing and dosing principles
• Familiarity with sterile and non-sterile compounding basics in a hospital setting
• Comfort using electronic medication administration and pharmacy systems
• Good communication and teamwork skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Clinical judgment for medication therapy management and interventions
