Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans with care, accuracy, and attention to patient safety
• Prepare and position patients for CT exams while explaining procedures in a calm, reassuring way
• Operate CT equipment and adjust protocols to obtain diagnostic images
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to clinical changes
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the PACS/RIS
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to support timely, diagnostic imaging
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (as stated in the job posting)
• Certification or registry in CT preferred (ARRT CT or equivalent) — registry-eligible candidates may be considered
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or able to obtain upon hire
• Active state licensure/registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ability to obtain Florida credentials for the assignment)
• Strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and effective communication

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program (or equivalent clinical experience)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT scanners and cross-sectional imaging protocols
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and digital imaging workflows
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and dose reduction techniques
• Excellent patient positioning and image-quality optimization skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced radiology environment
