Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform special procedures and fluoroscopic imaging with precision and care
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain radiology and fluoroscopy equipment following protocol
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and team members to deliver excellent patient care
- Apply radiation safety principles and quality control standards on every exam
- Document procedures accurately and maintain clear patient records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in radiology or special procedures (explicit requirement)
- Current Radiologic Technologist license for the state of Florida or equivalent
- ARRT certification preferred or equivalent registry credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with fluoroscopy/special procedures and patient positioning
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Fluoroscopy and special procedures technique and safety
- Patient positioning and care during imaging procedures
- Operation and basic troubleshooting of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
- Radiation safety and infection control practices
- Clear, professional documentation and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
