Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret fluoroscopy procedures with accuracy and confidence
- Read and report imaging studies across modalities (XR, CT, MR, US, NM)
- Document findings and clinical impressions clearly in EPIC
- Dictate high-quality reports using PowerScribe in a timely manner
- Communicate results and collaborate with referring physicians and care teams
- Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and patient-safety initiatives
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and radiology protocols
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completed radiology residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Radiology
- Current or eligible for a South Carolina medical license
- Proven experience performing fluoroscopy procedures (on-site hospital experience preferred)
- Comfortable using EPIC, PACS, and PowerScribe for workflow and reporting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hospital setting
Education
- MD or DO (Radiology residency completed)
Knowledge & Skills
- Fluoroscopy techniques and safety protocols
- Proficiency with PACS image review and workflow
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record documentation
- PowerScribe dictation/reporting expertise
- Interpretation across XR, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine
- Clinical decision-making and effective interdisciplinary communication
