Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and assist cardiologists with precision and care
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and imaging equipment for each case
• Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and communicate changes promptly
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
• Document procedures and patient data accurately and timely
• Support patient education and comfort before, during, and after procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or related cardiac procedural experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• RCIS or equivalent cardiovascular invasive specialist certification preferred
• Ability to work day shift schedule and function in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved Cath Lab technologist/vascular tech program or equivalent experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with catheterization lab equipment and sterile technique
• Understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and EKG interpretation
• Proficient patient monitoring and safety practices in invasive cardiology
• Good documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records
• Calm under pressure and excellent interpersonal skills
