Hours per Week: 40 hrs per week
Candidate Pay Rate: $37.80/hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality peri-procedural nursing care for endoscopy patients
- Monitor conscious sedation and recover patients post-procedure with vigilance
- Scrub or circulate for procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EBUS, EUS, and bronchoscopy
- Manage airway and respond to monitored anesthesia care and conscious sedation events
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Imaging) to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document care in Epic and handle specimen labeling/processing
- Operate specialty equipment such as ION and FUJI scopes, following facility protocols
- Adhere to facility call obligations and support weekend coverage every 5th weekend
Qualifications
- Alaska RN license in hand required for auto-offer (pending license accepted, strong preference for AK RN)
- Minimum: 1 year of RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Required certification: BLS
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, SGNA
- Required procedural skills: EUS, EBUS, ERCP, ION, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy
- Ability to work within scope without floating and to fulfill call responsibilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Monitoring conscious sedation and recovery
- Airway management skills for post-procedure care
- Specimen handling and labeling best practices
- Experience with Epic charting (preferred)
- Familiarity with ION equipment, FUJI scopes, and ERBE systems
- Ability to scrub and circulate in endoscopy procedures
