Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate outpatient OBGYN care, supporting reproductive health visits and procedures
• Perform and document phlebotomy and IV starts with proficiency and attention to patient comfort
• Assist with and perform procedures such as PAP, Coplo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon, and NST
• Chart accurately and efficiently in Epic to ensure continuity of care
• Administer vaccines and medications, and manage IM and SQ injections as ordered
• Conduct triage and follow-up phone calls, coordinate pharmacy refill requests, and support medication reconciliation
• Monitor vital signs, interpret basic lab results, and escalate concerns to providers timely

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license required
• Minimum 3 years of LVN experience in an outpatient or urgent care setting (L&D experience acceptable if outpatient clinic experience included)
• BLS (AHS or ARC) required
• IV/Blood Draw Certification with demonstrated proficiency in blood draws
• Epic experience required for charting
• Flu vaccination required (no declinations/no exemptions)
• Preferred: experience with PAP, Coplo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions/removals, Nexplanon, and NST

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Epic charting and electronic documentation
• Skilled in phlebotomy and IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs
• Strong skills in vaccine administration and vital sign monitoring
• Experience with women's health procedures and reproductive health workflows
• Comfortable with telephone triage, follow-up calls, and patient education
• Able to interpret basic lab results and follow isolation precautions
