Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day); Nights - on-call as needed, response ~30 minutes (Day_Night)

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Support interventional radiology procedures by preparing the suite and assistive devices for cases such as drains, sirspheres, tumor ablation, and spine procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE systems, ensuring safe and effective imaging during procedures
- Provide patient-focused care before, during, and after procedures, maintaining accurate documentation in the Meditech EMR
- Anticipate clinician needs and assist during complex cases including neuro and thrombectomy procedures when applicable
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to unit guidelines and policies to ensure patient safety
- Communicate clearly with the IR team and other departments to coordinate timely, high-quality patient care
- Respond to on-call notifications promptly and professionally, meeting the unit response expectations
Qualifications
- VI certification or CVIR required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant radiology or interventional radiology tech experience
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures and assisting in Special Procedures
- Comfortable with on-call duties and timely response expectations (~30 minutes)
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
- Experience with GE imaging equipment is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures workflow
- Patient monitoring and sterile procedural technique
- Imaging equipment operation, especially GE systems
- Meditech EMR documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
- Ability to manage stressful situations and prioritize tasks
- Neuro procedure experience and thrombectomy center familiarity are preferred
