Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform image-guided interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy and related modalities with precision and care
• Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vitals, and provide peri-procedural patient care and education
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and technologists to ensure efficient, safe procedures
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and comply with Trinity skills checklist and hospital policies
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterile technique during interventions
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled to support continuous patient services

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• Valid fluoroscopy permit (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active state radiologic technologist license and ability to complete License/Certificate Verification
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and ability to pass background and 10-panel drug screen
• Up-to-date immunizations and health documentation (PPD/IGRA, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, COVID-19, Influenza) and fit test

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and fluoroscopic imaging
• Proficiency with patient positioning, sterile technique and procedural prep
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and fluoroscopy dose management
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and accessories
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Comfort managing acute patient needs during procedures and on-call situations
