Roles & Responsibilities

• Sterilize, decontaminate, and prepare surgical instruments and trays to hospital standards
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function and wear; report and tag defective items
• Assemble sterile sets and ensure accurate instrument counts for procedures
• Maintain documentation and adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Manage inventory of supplies and coordinate with supply/OR teams for replenishment
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support safe, timely surgical services and shared-call needs

Qualifications

• Certification in Sterile Processing (required)
• Current TB clearance (required)
• Previous experience in sterile processing/central sterile services preferred
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday schedule and participate in shared call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterilization methods, instrument care, and infection prevention
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
• Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with OR and supply staff
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
