Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans using Siemens equipment, ensuring images meet radiologist standards
• Prepare the scan room and equipment, verify protocols, and perform equipment warm-ups
• Interview and screen patients for MRI contraindications and answer procedure questions with care
• Draw up and administer IV contrast and oral contrast when indicated, following safety protocols
• Position and assist patients for optimal imaging, adjusting protocols for clinical need
• Enter patient data and scan parameters accurately and maintain image order for interpretation
• Prepare complete records and clinical information for radiologist review and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of MRI technologist experience (required)
• Active ARRT certification in MRI (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (required)
• Siemens MRI experience (required)
• Associate degree (required)
• Able to provide Work History and a current MRI Skills Checklist (within 1 year)
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Candidates must live outside the facility’s 50-mile exclusion radius (facility will not consider local candidates)

• Ability to prepare thorough records for radiologist review
