Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on assigned shift
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgement
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact RN license where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred
• Current clinical experience as an RN; travel/contract experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced facility and collaborating across disciplines
• Professional communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively during shift
• Patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination
