Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Assist with ADLs and mobility to promote resident safety and independence
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — must be active or eligible in the state of assignment
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Basic wound care and infection control practices
• Resident assessment and recognition of changes in clinical status
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
