Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform routine assessments and document changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support care plans
• Assist with wound care, vital signs, and other clinical procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families with clear, supportive communication
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico or eligible for New Mexico licensure
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and common nursing procedures
• Comfortable with electronic charting and accurate documentation
• Good clinical assessment skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered care approach
• Time management and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
