Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse licensure (New Mexico RN or appropriate compact license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred
• Current ACLS or specialty certifications encouraged where applicable
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Patient-centered approach with strong prioritization and time management
