Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families
• Assist with ADLs and promote resident dignity, independence, and comfort
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico or ability to obtain licensure promptly
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered care
• Proficient documentation skills and attention to detail
• Basic assessment skills and the ability to escalate changes in condition
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
