Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor condition changes
• Document care clearly and timely in the patient record
• Collaborate with nursing colleagues and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and promote patient safety
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (Class: LPN)
• Active state LPN license or eligible to obtain licensure promptly
• Comfortable working the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to work in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Wound care basics and infection prevention
• Clear documentation and charting best practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
