Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents, following care plans and facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes, and collaborate with the care team for best outcomes
• Document care activities clearly and timely to support continuity and quality
• Support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
• Communicate with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license for the state of New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in medication administration and basic wound care
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during a busy shift
• Compassionate patient interaction and strong observational skills
