Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Assess patient status and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate outstanding care
• Document clinical findings and interventions clearly in the patient record
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Monitor changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly for patient safety

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Mexico license preferred or compact RN
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS a plus
• Previous clinical experience in acute or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid bedside assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Patient and family education skills with empathy and clarity
