Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and escalate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses and facility staff to deliver coordinated care plans
• Document patient care and progress clearly in the facility’s records
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — active licensure required
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable working in long-term care/center environments like Casa Del Sol
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous LPN experience preferred; enthusiasm and willingness to learn essential

Education

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Resident-centered care and patient education
• Electronic medical record (EMR) charting familiarity
• Infection control, safety protocols, and basic wound care
• Good time management, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
