Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform regular patient assessments and document changes clearly
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to optimize care plans
• Support patients and families with education, empathy, and clear communication
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and team members

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico (required) or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Clinical experience as an LPN in long-term care or related settings preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical assessments
• Wound care and routine nursing procedures common in long-term care
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Ability to use electronic health records and complete accurate charting
• Strong patient and family communication and education skills
