Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform routine assessments and report changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the patient record and follow facility policies
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and comfort
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols and medication administration standards

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license valid in New Mexico
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Comfortable working in long-term care / skilled nursing settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a collaborative care team
• Immunizations up to date and able to complete facility onboarding/credentialing

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and accurate documentation
• Knowledge of wound care, vital signs monitoring and basic assessments
• Familiarity with long-term care routines and resident-centered care
• Ability to use electronic medical records and follow charting best practices
• Strong clinical judgment, time management and prioritization skills
• Professional bedside manner and effective communication with residents and families
