Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to residents as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor resident conditions, report changes, and collaborate with the care team to adjust care plans
• Perform routine assessments and maintain clear, timely charting to support continuity of care
• Support resident comfort and dignity through attentive, respectful interactions
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions while educating residents and families as needed
• Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (or equivalent) — licensure in New Mexico preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to pass background/health screenings required by the facility

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or certificate (or equivalent vocational training) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Comfortable performing resident assessments and reporting clinical changes
• Knowledge of long-term care best practices and infection control
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
